removing the weeds

Today I got a nice Sahaja Yoga lesson from my neighbour who has no idea what Sahaja Yoga means...

With the coming of the spring, our garden is full of weeds. The government forbade any weed killer substances few years ago as they did a lot of harm to the environment. So the only option is to take them out one by one. This is easier said than done, when you have hundreds of them.

While I was doing just that, after 1h or so you couldn't see the difference.

My neighbour came out so I started complaining about how many weeds there are and how much I have to work to remove them all.

He told me, something like:

"You know you cannot take all of them out at once. While you take some, others will appear, but you don't have to stop. You have to take it step by step, again and again, until they are all finished. I don't take it as work, just as a hobby... so I enjoy it..."

So I guess this is our job for this life and that is why we should keep meditating: to remove all the weeds we have inside and, boy, there are so many...
