It is a pleasure and privilege to introduce for your enjoyment & inspiration our Uncle Vimal’s blogsite, where he has been posting his poetical works. Here is his latest post:
Reading this poem yesterday after the puja at Blossom Farm was our first introduction to this collection. Several yogis found themselves unable to resist the temptation to then read poem after poem, in delight.
Here are a few lines from the poem titled
‘WE ARE THE FINEST CREATURES, OUR ROOTS ARE IN HEAVEN’:
We are the finest creatures in God’s all creation
We are wholly unaware of this as we have no self-realisation.
We are a reflection of God’s entire creation
With everything without, we have an integral relation.
We are troubled for we are in conflict with the world out there
To be at peace with the world within and without, we need to co-operate and care.
We are at war with our soul and at war with the nature
We fail to recognize and realize our divine stature.
We are at war with gods and at war with ourselves
We pamper Vanities and leave our inherent virtues on shelves.
We switch off the light of our soul and walk in the darkness of our mind
Without the light of our soul, we are virtually blind.
Hope you enjoy.
Thank you, Uncle Vimal :-)
